• contractor dashboards and workspaces;
• job, scheduling, equipment, document, customer, and financial features;
• email, telephone, text, and platform communications;
• any related Rloop service that links to this Policy.

This Policy does not govern the independent privacy practices of third-party websites or services that Rloop does not control.

2. Information we collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with Rloop.

A. Identity and contact information

We may collect:

• first and last name;
• username;
• email address;
• telephone number;
• mailing or business address;
• city, state, and ZIP code;
• organization or company name.

B. Account information

We may collect:

• account credentials;
• authentication status;
• account type;
• account creation and login information;
• verification and approval status;
• account preferences and settings.

Passwords are processed through the authentication and security systems used by the platform. We do not display your password in readable form.

C. Customer and service-request information

Customers and prospective customers may provide:

• service address;
• requested service type;
• descriptions of property or items;
• photographs or videos;
• requested dates and times;
• access instructions;
• property conditions;
• communications about estimates and jobs;
• reviews, complaints, and support requests.

D. Contractor and applicant information

Contractors and applicants may provide:

• availability;
• equipment and vehicle information;
• insurance information;

• tax and payment information;

E. Job and platform activity

When you access Rloop, we or our service providers may automatically collect:

• manage schedules and availability;
• facilitate communications between users;
• document job progress and completion;
• calculate charges, compensation, and payouts;
• provide customer service and technical support;
• respond to complaints and disputes;
• prevent fraud, abuse, misconduct, and illegal activity;
• maintain platform and account security;
• monitor performance and troubleshoot errors;
• enforce our agreements and policies;
• comply with tax, accounting, legal, regulatory, insurance, and recordkeeping obligations;
• protect the rights, safety, property, and security of users and others;
• carry out other purposes disclosed when information is collected.

5. How we disclose information

We may disclose information in the following circumstances.

A. Customers and Contractors

We may provide information reasonably necessary to coordinate and perform a service request.

For example, an approved Contractor may receive relevant Customer contact information, service address, job description, access instructions, photographs, schedule, and other assignment details.

A Customer may receive relevant Contractor identity, company, arrival, assignment, verification, or service information.

B. Service providers

We may disclose information to companies that perform services for Rloop, including:

• website and application hosting;
• content delivery and network security;
• email delivery;
• database and file storage;
• payment processing;
• identity and document verification;
• analytics and error monitoring;
• mapping and location services;
• communications;
• legal, accounting, insurance, and professional services.

These providers may access information only as reasonably necessary to provide services to us or as otherwise permitted by law.

C. Legal and safety purposes

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to:

• comply with a law, court order, subpoena, warrant, or legal process;
• respond to a governmental or regulatory request;
• investigate fraud, abuse, threats, misconduct, or illegal dumping;
• protect users, the public, property, or the platform;
• establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;
• enforce our agreements and policies.

D. Business transactions

Information may be disclosed or transferred in connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, asset sale, business sale, bankruptcy, or similar transaction.

6. Payment information

Rloop may use a third-party payment processor to process Customer charges, deposits, refunds, Contractor payouts, or other financial transactions.

Payment processors may collect payment-card, banking, identity, tax, and transaction information directly from users under their own terms and privacy policies.

Rloop may receive limited transaction information, such as payment status, transaction identifiers, amount, payout status, payment method type, and limited account details. We do not intend to store complete payment-card numbers when payment processing is handled by an external processor.

7. Contractor and applicant information

Rloop uses Contractor and applicant information to evaluate eligibility, verify qualifications, administer accounts, coordinate assignments, support payments, monitor compliance, and protect platform users.

Depending on the platform’s requirements and applicable law, we may verify:

• identity;
• business registration;
• insurance coverage;
• licenses and permits;
• equipment and service capabilities;
• tax documentation;
• other application information.

Contractor information may also be used to create internal records regarding approval, suspension, performance, availability, service history, complaints, incidents, and policy compliance.

The submission of an application does not guarantee approval, platform access, or any minimum number of assignments.

8. Uploaded documents

Documents uploaded to Rloop may contain sensitive personal, business, financial, licensing, insurance, or identification information.

We use uploaded documents to:

• review applications;
• verify required qualifications;
• monitor expiration dates;
• maintain compliance records;
• investigate disputes or incidents;
• satisfy legal, tax, insurance, and recordkeeping requirements.

Do not upload documents that are not requested or reasonably necessary. When possible, avoid including unnecessary information in uploaded files.

9. Communications

We may use contact information to send:

• account and security notices;
• contractor application updates;
• document approval or rejection notices;
• quote and appointment information;
• assignment and scheduling notifications;
• payment and payout information;
• customer-support responses;
• policy and platform updates;
• marketing communications where permitted.

You may unsubscribe from promotional email by using an available unsubscribe method. You may still receive transactional, legal, administrative, and security communications.

Rloop currently uses external email-delivery infrastructure, including Resend, to transmit certain platform communications.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

Rloop may use cookies, session identifiers, local storage, server logs, and similar technologies to:

• keep users signed in;
• maintain secure sessions;
• protect against cross-site request forgery and other attacks;
• remember preferences;
• operate website and dashboard features;
• diagnose errors;
• understand platform usage;
• improve reliability and security.

Some cookies are necessary for authentication, security, and essential platform functions. Blocking these cookies may prevent parts of Rloop from working correctly.

11. Sale or sharing of personal information

California law may define “sale” or “sharing” more broadly than an exchange of information for money. Certain analytics or advertising technologies may qualify as selling or sharing when used.

If Rloop later engages in activity treated as a sale or sharing under applicable law, we will update this Policy and provide any required opt-out mechanism.

12. Data retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including:

• operating and securing the platform;
• maintaining accounts;
• completing transactions and assignments;
• resolving disputes;
• preventing fraud and abuse;
• satisfying insurance requirements;
• maintaining tax and financial records;
• enforcing agreements;
• complying with applicable law.

Retention periods may depend on the type of information, sensitivity, legal obligations, account status, transaction history, dispute risk, and operational requirements.

Information may remain in backups, legal archives, security records, or restricted systems for a reasonable period after deletion from active systems.

13. Data security

Rloop uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure.

Measures may include:

• authentication and access controls;
• password hashing;
• HTTPS encryption in transit;
• secure session and cookie settings;
• application security headers;
• restricted administrative access;
• infrastructure and network protections;
• logging and monitoring;
• reasonable provider and access-management practices.

Rloop currently uses infrastructure providers that include Render for application hosting and Cloudflare for domain, network, and related security services.

No system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that unauthorized persons will never defeat our safeguards or that transmission and storage will always be risk-free.

14. Your privacy choices

Depending on your relationship with Rloop and applicable law, you may:

• update certain account information;
• correct inaccurate information;
• request account closure;
• unsubscribe from promotional email;
• manage browser cookies;
• request access to certain information;
• request deletion of certain information;
• exercise additional rights provided by applicable law.

We may need to verify your identity before processing a privacy request. We may also retain information when required or permitted by law.

Closing an account does not automatically cancel outstanding jobs, payment obligations, disputes, investigations, or legal retention requirements.

15. California privacy rights

California residents may have privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, when that law applies to the Company and the information involved.

Subject to legal limitations and exceptions, these rights may include the right to:

• know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected;
• know the sources and purposes of collection;
• know the categories of third parties to whom information is disclosed;
• request deletion;
• request correction;
• opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information;
• limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable;
• receive equal service and pricing without unlawful discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law. We may require proof of authorization and identity verification.

Rloop will not discriminate against a user for making a lawful privacy request.

16. Children’s privacy

Rloop is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.

Users must be at least 18 years old to create a Contractor account, submit a Contractor application, request paid Services, or enter into a binding transaction through Rloop.

If we learn that we collected personal information directly from a child under 13 without legally required authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

17. Third-party services and links

Rloop may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party services.

Third parties may independently collect information under their own privacy policies. Their privacy and security practices are not controlled by this Policy.

Users should review the privacy terms of any third-party service they use.

18. Data location

Rloop is operated from the United States and is currently intended primarily for users and Services located in the United States.

Information may be processed or stored in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live.

19. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to Rloop, our information practices, service providers, legal requirements, or business operations.

The revised Policy will display a new “Last updated” date.

Where required by law or appropriate for material changes, we may provide additional notice through the website, account, email, or another reasonable method.
